Fans of romance novels will have the opportunity to meet award-winning author Gwyn Cready, who will be at the Peters Township Public Library on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Cready will discuss “Time Travel, Jane Austen, and the Road to Becoming a Romance Writer”.
Cready was honored in July at the Romance Writers of America Conference in Washington D.C. when her second novel “Seducing Mr. Darcy” was selected as the Best Paranormal Romance for 2009. Pittsburgh is the setting for this novel, and the book’s time-traveling heroine works at the National Aviary. Readers will recognize many of the other Pittsburgh landmarks used throughout the book. Cready’s first novel was “Tumbling Through Time”, which Janet Evanovich calls "Funny and sexy .. a reading adventure you don't want to miss." Her next book, “Flirting With Forever” is due out in March 2010.
